We are updating how LumaQode's Sngine applications and add-ons are purchased and maintained. The policy separates a new purchase of a specific version from the legacy update entitlement attached to an older license.
Choose the version that fits your Sngine website
The product page lets you select your Sngine script version, filter compatible product versions, or show every published version. An older version stays available to buy while it is marked for sale. Product version numbers and Sngine compatibility numbers are separate: check both before paying. Existing archives labeled “Sngine 4.5 and earlier” do not claim Sngine 5.0 compatibility.
New paid-version purchases: download anytime
A new purchase covers the selected product version and its linked free maintenance updates. You may download them from My Purchases at any time without renewing support. There is no six-month support term attached to these new purchases, and no recurring support charge is required to retain their downloads. A different paid version is a separate purchase; an upgrade price is available only when shown for an eligible earlier license.
Legacy licenses: six-month renewal for $10
This change also applies to existing legacy licenses for the covered Sngine products, including previously linked purchases. Their same-product legacy update eligibility is retained, but downloads and update delivery now require active support. This replaces the previous unconditional lifetime-download arrangement for those legacy licenses.
Existing support remains valid until its recorded expiry. Where an old purchase has no recorded expiry, its initial six months are counted from its original purchase date, including the original marketplace purchase date when available. After expiry, renew support and downloads for six months for $10 USD per website license. Renew from the selected license in My Purchases and complete the invoice checkout. Any payment processing fee is shown before payment.
Renewing early adds six months to the remaining term; renewing after expiry starts six months from payment. Renewal is applied only after payment is confirmed and only to the selected license. Expiry or an unpaid renewal invoice does not stop the installed website or application. A legacy customer who instead purchases a new paid-version license receives that new version's permanent-download entitlement under its own new purchase code.
Covered products and current version prices
- Sngine Combined (Timeline + Messenger): $40 USD.
- Sngine Timeline, Sngine Messenger for Android/iOS, Sngine Messenger Desktop, Reels Series Pro and LumaQode LMS for Sngine: $35 USD each.
These are the current full prices for a new license of an available paid version. Future releases and eligible upgrades show their own prices before checkout. Sngine Live Pro is excluded from this policy and retains its existing purchase/update terms. Products unrelated to Sngine are also unaffected.
More than one website
Already own the product? Use “Buy another website license” on its product page. The full version price buys a separate license and a new purchase code for the additional website. Download entitlements and legacy support renewals belong to that purchase code; one code's renewal does not extend another code's support.
Why we are making this change
Maintaining compatibility across Sngine releases requires continued development, testing, security fixes and integration work. Version-based purchases and the legacy renewal option provide separate ways to fund that work while keeping compatibility and download rights visible before checkout.
Zamblek has explained its own Sngine pricing changes and the distinction between its portal terms and CodeCanyon licenses. Its announcement explicitly preserves lifetime updates for its CodeCanyon customers. LumaQode's policy is our independent decision for our own applications and add-ons; it is not a requirement imposed by Zamblek and does not change anyone's Sngine core license.
